As the Director Finance you will oversee plant site accounting for the manufacturing, procurement and logistics organization. This role will provide financial, business analysis, decision support and relevant guidance to leadership. Reporting to the CFO the Director Finance will be heavily involved and partner with other members of the Sr Leadership Team.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with VP Supply Chain and VP Operations to provide decision support for the global operations footprint
• Lead and develop Finance Operations team, including Plant Finance teams, to manage month-end closing and prepare monthly financial statements and other operational reports for respective business partners
• Develop a positive working relationship with all business partners, providing insightful financial information that supports accountability and leads to tangible initiatives or actions
• Review financial and operational performance with business partners and identify areas to improve financial performance
• Ongoing analysis and review of financial performance versus established targets, prior business results and relevant industry benchmarking
• Accurately forecast financial performance and provide broader strategic view of relevant revenue, expense and capital expenditure areas
• Lead the budgeting/forecasting processes for operations to ensure that business objectives are appropriately incorporated into both the short-term and long-term plan.
• Support and validate COS Savings and cost reduction initiatives across the entire operation
• Lead the process to develop and maintain product standard costs, working with plant personnel to ensure they are properly implemented.
• Work with manufacturing and engineering on CAPEX.
• Support M&A projects
• Establish and lead cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving company performance and processes
• Provides proactive / unsolicited consultation, interpretation and education of complex financial and operational matters to various departmental leaders used to drive business decisions
• Monitor and implement internal controls (in conjunction with SOX corporate policies) as necessary to ensure reporting integrity, safeguard company assets, and identify risks
• Ensures proper accounting in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles as well as local statutory requirements
• Work with the head of procurement and supply chain on initiatives with vendors and footprint of warehouses
• Partner with corporate accounting and shared services on routine close activities as well as issue resolution and projects.
• Support internal and external audits
