Position Overview Leading analytical projects from inception through rollout - coordinating with systems resources and leadership to ensure deliverables meet firm objectives. Conceiving, outlining, and developing thorough and comprehensive reporting packages to address end-user needs. Review and manage budget reporting and analyses for marketing goals and budgets - working closely with both the Global Leader of Analytics and the Global Marketing and Business Development Leader. Creating analytical models and in-depth analyses rooted in a strategic data approach and visualization and reporting best practices. Build a suite of marketing and business development reports that tie to both the marketing and financial systems and provide clear takeaways for firm leadership on performance and progress. Train users in the use of these reports, including ongoing 1:1 training if needed. Identifying opportunities for improvement - through process/procedure, strategic use of data, upgraded systems development, improved reporting or otherwise - and create project plans that will address these issues. Developing error and qa/qc reporting as necessary to ensure data quality. Under the guidance of the Global Leader, researching, analyzing and presenting information pertinent to business performance or company goals/aims, such as market research, opportunities for improvement, company objectives, or firm problem-solving. Implementing automation and utilizing streamlined reporting were to improve functionality and efficiency for end-users and/or other team members. Synthesizing business needs and creating business process maps used to build reports, analyses and data models. Fostering the development of a data culture - helping internal teams and clients make user-driven, evidence-based decisions around finance, business strategy, marketing, and our workforce. Minimum Qualifications Experienced in working on/with projects/products that utilize big data and advanced analytics technologies. Expert SQL ability and proficiency with 1 programming language (R or Python preferred) Experience using data exploration and visualization tools (ex. Tableau, PowerBI, Cognos, R). Strong knowledge of financial terminology, marketing/business development terminology, business model and trends around a professional service business. 5 years of work experience working with business systems - Salesforce and Deltek Vision (ERP) preferred. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Minimum 5 years of work experience working in analysis, analytics or related field of practice.
