Background:

As an Airmen Accommodation Laboratory (AAL) Research Engineer, you will be a part of project teams assigned to research, build, and deploy new and improved human body modeling solutions to meet the needs of the lab. Responsibilities will include collecting and analyzing digital models, followed by researching and recommending appropriate solutions. You will then perform the hands-on work required to build, configure, test, and deploy technical solutions. This position will also require providing appropriate documentation and training to equip our Operations teams with the ability to maintain and support those solutions. You will be responsible for keeping your leader, project teammates, and other stakeholders updated throughout each project.

Job Duties:

• Proficient in C , C#, XAML, SQL, JAVA, MATLAB, FORTRAN
• Good working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite including Office 2010 and O365 – Outlook Web App & SharePoint.
• Good working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Operating Systems
• A general understanding of network technologies, VPN, remote access solutions, terminal servers, virus protection and encryption tools
• Experience with Digital Models
• Provide status reports to customers

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Interactive Media/Game Development
• Strong ability to communicate orally and written
• High level of customer service, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Familiar with government contractor environment and protocol
• Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information
• Responsiveness, Willingness to ensure on-call mobility
• Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks
• Able to work as part of an effective team assisting and supporting team members
