Solution / Systems Architect:

The Systems Architect will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable systems within the Azure cloud platform. His/Her expertise will directly impact the organization s success by ensuring efficient data management, seamless integration, and optimal performance. Should have hands-on experience with Azure services.

Responsibilities

• Azure Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to define cloud strategy and architecture. Design and deploy scalable Azure solutions for various applications.
• Data Management and Storage: Utilize Azure services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Blob Storage to create and maintain efficient data storage solutions.
• Data Integration and ETL: Develop and implement data integration processes (ETL) using Azure Data Factory. Ensure data is efficiently cleaned, transformed, and loaded into data warehouses or data lakes.
• Azure DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Collaborate with development teams to implement Infrastructure as Code practices using Azure DevOps. Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of Azure resources.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure data security, reliability, and compliance within Azure environments. Implement best practices for access control, encryption, and auditing.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize Azure-based systems for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Nice-to-have: Big Data and Analytics: Leverage big data technologies like Azure Databricks and Apache Spark to handle and analyze large volumes of data. Create data processing workflows and pipelines to support data analytics and machine learning applications.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5 -10 years of experience in IT system architecture, with a focus on Azure technologies.
• Proficiency in Azure services, including Azure Data Explorer, Power BI, Azure Functions, and Azure Blob Storage.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to balance strategic vision with practical implementation.
