Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Location: Boston, MA

Dates:Fall semester (until January, possibility to go full year)
Hours:Full time position 30-32.5hrs week. Supporting 1:1 Student and maybe a classroom when 1:1 is out.

Position Overview:

We are hiring one full-time RBT to provide individualized and small group support to students in an inclusive educational setting. The successful candidate will work closely with students and staff to implement behavior intervention plans and support the academic and social-emotional development of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1:1 and Small Group Support: Deliver behavior interventions and support to students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups as directed by behavior plans.
• Behavioral Interventions: Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans, collecting data and making adjustments as needed.
• Collaboration: Work with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure consistency and effectiveness of behavior interventions.
• Support: Assist in maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment, helping students with both academic and behavioral needs.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and behavior.

Qualifications:

• Active RIRBT Credentials: Must have current and verified Registered Behavior Technician credentials in good standing.
• CPI Trained: Must be trained in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) techniques.
• Experience: Previous school-based experience is highly preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong munication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with young children and diverse teams.
