Soft Stuff Distributors provides Specialty Food Solutions to the Hospitality Industry. Soft Stuff started 30 years ago in the sunroom of our founders’ home, selling cheesecakes to local businesses. Three decades later, we distribute delicious products from all over the world (desserts, hors-d’oeuvres, breads, soups, etc.) to thousands of Foodservice customers in all facets of the Hospitality Industry throughout the Mid-Atlantic from our distribution center in Jessup, MD. No longer a team of two, Soft Stuff now has over 40 employees dedicated to providing customers with the best possible products and services. What You'll Do

We are looking for an IT Coordinator with awesome communication skills and a willingness to learn.

  • Install and configure software and hardware. 
  • Assist the HR Coordinator with creating a work station when new employees are being onboarded.
  • Provide technical support for all employees. 
  • Monitor the system and network performance. 
  • Generate reports and KPI’s. 
  • Participate in training sessions and learn about our cloud ERP software. (Acumatica) 
  • Willingness to learn basic functions of Xerox Printing Press

What You Have

Required Qualifications

  • Associates degree in computer science or related field. 
  • Knowledge of IT and a variety of computer systems. 
  • Pass pre-employment testing (background check).
  • Willing to learn new technologies and stay updated with trends.
  • Good at problem solving, and teamwork. 
  • Able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
  • Computer literacy (incl. Microsoft Office and G-Suite products)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. 
  • Experience in IT coordinator role or similar role. 
  • Knowledge of programming languages.
