Marketing Specialist/Graphic Designer

About the Position:
Create and manage a wide range of graphic design and marketing requirements for internal and external use to promote energy efficiency initiatives for Residential and Commercial & Industrial customers.

Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Direct, develop and deliver the design and creative application across a range of print and digital touch points, including online and traditional campaigns, internal communications, events and exhibition materials reports and literature. Executions may include brochures, flyers, rebate forms, e-mail blasts, direct mailers, and social media graphics.
• Manage a range of creative projects as required.
• Ensure consistency of visual identity across communications by adhering to and promoting brand visual identity guidelines.
• Support communication plans to ensure consistent and timely messages are rolled out in line with the business strategy.
• Manage the day-to-day relationship with printers, external vendors, and creative service providers to develop and implement effective communication solutions.
• Prioritize workloads, including new requests, in accordance with agreed team and business objectives, ensuring that stakeholders are kept up to date with progress and outcomes.
• Act as an enthusiastic brand champion who seeks to assist and inspire colleagues on the importance of a consistent visual brand internally and externally, so employees and stakeholders perceive the value in a strong, professional visual identity across all materials and channels.

Knowledge & Experience Required:

• Relevant degree or business-recognized qualification in graphic design
• Excellent levels of competency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Creative, Cloud and traditional corporate Microsoft platforms
• Experience in creating online and digital content and proficient in working with templates
• Experience in Constant Contact e-mail system
• Knowledge of print and digital production

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
