SoFi Stadium, the new home of the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers, is located at Hollywood Park, a 298-acre sports and entertainment destination being developed by Los Angeles Rams Owner/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke in Inglewood, California. The 3.1 million square-foot SoFi Stadium is the largest stadium in the NFL, as well as the first indoor outdoor stadium. It seats approximately 70,000, expandable up to 100,000, with more than 260 luxury suites and more than 13,000 premium seats. SoFi Stadium has already secured Super Bowl LVI in 2022, the College Football National Championship Game in 2023, and the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Olympic Games in 2028.

Position Summary 

SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to help create, implement and maintain the IT infrastructure for the campus including the supporting enterprise applications for internal and external. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years in a similar role with both on-prem and cloud experience with an advanced scripting background.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Bridge gaps between IT and business needs with a focus on automation
• Lead and integrate advanced system architectural projects 
• Build and manage automation for employee lifecycle using Okta, Google Workspace, ADFS and other critical business systems
• Help maintain and design server infrastructure including Windows and Linux OS’ both on prem and cloud
• Assist and lead the roll-out and deployment of new systems, integrations and configuration changes to support business growth, working collaboratively across departments
• Build tools to support on prem services e.g. VMWare ESXi, Active Directory/Group Policy, SQL Server, etc.
• Provides “ownership” of a problem through final resolution
• Develop processes for enterprise applications; while administering user accounts, permissions, and identity throughout the organization
• Provide guidance to junior members of the team
• Take part in rotational on-call and weekend events
• Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to manage multiple & competing priorities

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Advanced systems automation skills, with a focus on API Integrations (e.g. REST, JSON, XML, CURL etc.) and various programming/scripting languages (e.g Python, Git, PowerShell, Bash etc.)
• Proficient in API testing tools (e.g. Postman, SoapUI, Apigee)

• Experience with administration of various SaaS tools and cloud infrastructure (e.g. Okta, Google Workspace, Atlassian etc.)
• Knowledge and experience with Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Advance skills in cloud automation; ie. IaaS (Terraform a plus)
• Single Sign On (SAML/OAuth)
• Proven skills administering a VMWare ESXi environment, including hosted Linux and Windows OS administration experience
• Strong experience and understanding of Networking, DNS, DHCP and Identity
• Okta and cloud certifications a plus
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies
• Willingness to help with tier 1 support for events including running cables, working weekends, and breaking down physical network infrastructure.
