Sodexo has an opening for a Concessions Manager 2 at University of Vermont (UVM) in Burlington, VT. University of Vermont is a up and coming premier Division I school and the concession business is poised to step-up to the next-level. The Concessions manager will be responsible for the the concessions operation of sports stadiums on campus, including soccer, basketball and hockey. The candidate will work alongside the staff during events to ensure a successful shift and will work to keep all venues fully stocked.

Provides supervision for food preparation and service operations in a concessions account/unit (i.e., stadiums, amusement parks) to ensure client satisfaction and retention for the Company. Contributes to account revenue and operating profit contribution through cost containment and safety. Key Duties-Utilizes Sodexo resources, systems and programs to direct daily operations including; food production, stand inventory, product deliveries, invoices, and procurement operations. -Directs daily operations in a concessions account/unit to ensure employees, NPO (non-profit organizations) groups and 3rd party vendors (if applicable) have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources to perform their job, and meet goals, cost controls and deadlines as assigned.-Ensures that concessions area, equipment and storage facilities are sanitary, neat and organized. Drives a Zero Harm mindset by maintaining a safe work environment including both food and physical safety in order to comply with all regulatory and Sodexo standards. -Complies with budget requirements by controlling costs (i.e. labor, inventory, equipment, materials) and making adjustments when necessary-Supervises employees, NPO groups and 3rd party vendors by delegating, assigning and prioritizing activities, and monitoring operating standards to ensures that employees demonstrate an active customer hospitality orientation toward customers and clients.
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent Basic Management Experience - 1 year Sodexo is an EEO/AA/Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran employer.
