SOCIALFLY is Hiring a Remote Social Media Account Manager

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking to fill an important role for Account Manager. This position requires a strong knowledge of social and digital marketing, as well as client service, in a fast-paced agency setting.

Strong writing and communications skills are required as part of the role will be client management and client presentations. In addition, this position will play a key strategic, operational and tactical role for the Client Services. You will also collaborate with our internal creative, media, influencer and production teams to provide the best solutions for our clients. 

Those successful in this role are both proactive problem solvers with a positive attitude, and able to observe/listen/take feedback from both internal and client teams to better achieve client goals. Being adaptive and willing to step in to help any team member is imperative, but so is the ability to help manage internal teams to deliver an exceptional client experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help support the client service team in delivering an exceptional client experience by managing the day-to day relationship with clients
  • Be passionate about delivering the highest quality work, while balancing time, budget and client expectations
  • Be the account lead for appropriate retainer & project-based clients
  • Assist in understanding clients’ needs and translating those into actionable briefs, and project scoping documents
  • Develop strong relationships with both our clients and internal team members in the Creative, Influencer, Accounts and Strategy teams
  • Contribute toward strategic planning processes
  • Prepare presentations, reports and proposals for clients and transfer feedback to internal resources in a concise and meaningful way
  • Prepare for and lead client and internal agency status meetings 
  • Oversee ongoing reporting including social media analysis and development of post-campaign reports
  • Support new business opportunities.
  • Manage project lifecycle from kickoff through delivery ensuring successful completion of all project phases 
  • Keep projects on track through clear timelines, task lists, status reports, and meeting notes
  • Manage project schedules and author project communications in collaboration with the Production Team
  • Coordinate with paid media, influencer, strategy and creative divisions to ensure projects meet timelines and stay within scope

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2-3 years of digital agency/client services/startup experience or 2-3 years social media/digital marketing experience 
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to ever-changing projects 
  • Project/budget management skills ensure timelines/budgets are maintained
  • Proactive, multi-tasker, with high attention to detail and a problem-solver who can be a collaborative team player
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Comfortable being client-facing and presenting on a daily-basis.
  • Customer service mindset
  • Ability to project manage deliverables

ADDITIONAL SKILLS (DESIRED BUT NOOT REQUIRED)

  • Graphic Design, Photo/Video editing, Copywriting
  • Analytics and Insights
  • Knowledge of paid media and influencer
