As a member of the Finance organization, you will;· Build a sense of community within Finance and with other teams across the Company· Help secure the recruitment of top talent for Finance roles· Create a culture of excellence in execution that recognizes and rewards high performanceThis position will be required to work out of our Hoboken office, this is not a remote role.The ideal teammate would be able to:•Perform monthly closing of financials which includes; generate and review Financial Statements in compliance with US GAAP, compare actual to the budget and investigate /explain variances, analyze key accounts, identify unusual transactions, verify adequacy of reserves and accruals, follow-up and review with management, and prepare adjusting journal entries•Be responsible for the general ledger month-end close and presentation of the balance sheet and income statement results and analysis as well as for the preparation of the monthly reporting package•Perform processes so the deadlines for financial reporting are met and all accounting and reporting activities are performed in accordance with the accounting policies and/or the financial procedures of the company•Coordinate the preparation of all reporting requirements (Quarterly Analytics, Year End Supplemental Reporting Package) to meet reporting deadlines•Reconcile and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts•Produce a variety of financial reports including periodic reports and analyses, setting forth progress and appropriate recommendations or conclusions•Support external audits by providing audit schedules, support and responding to inquiries.•Participate in special projects by supporting management and the project team in various tasks•Research literature to support accounting treatment and methodology used in accordance with US GAAP and the company's financial policiesWould you describe yourself as someone who has:•Bachelors or master's degree in accounting, finance or similar field (required)•3-5 years experience in public or private accounting (required)•CPA certification (preferred but not required)•Experience in working in manufacturing and/or consumer packaged goods (CPG) environments (preferred)•Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
