The Document Control Coordinator will report to the Director of Product Life Cycle Management and will be responsible for receiving, maintaining, and disseminating OEM/JDM and Engineering Product Documentation consisting of bill of material, technical data, engineering and supplier drawings, part specific and technical specifications, packaging, labeling, and other project-required documents, as a coordinator You’ll be working with other SnapAV team members and with manufacturing partners worldwide to design, build, and support cutting-edge products. The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment that is goal oriented and emphasizes accountability for delivering results.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain product documentation from NPI to Obsolesence
  • Coordination for the Engineering Change Process
  • Create, maintain and disiminate Engineering Change Notices.
  • Knowledge of revison control in regards to form fit or function.
  • Ability to remain flexible while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams, including design, product development and manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills required.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in an efficient and timely manner without supervision.
  • Must be proficient in Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS)
  • Working knowledge of Information Management requirements across all project phases.
  • Implement the Information Management Plan and supporting document control procedures.
  • Actively participate in project meetings and anticipate documentation information management needs.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge of standard document control practices.
  • Knowledge of the Engineering change process.
  • Attention to detail and quality consensus to ensure product documentation is properly completed.
  • Communication skills, written, verbal and electronic computer proficient with Microsoft office suite.
  • Ability to be a team player and foster a commitment to teamwork with other associates
  • Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years experience using EDMS/PLM/ERP system(s), specifically SAP and Arena
  • Experience working within Design and Drafting Environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years industry experience directly related to Configuration Management and/or Standard Document Control Practices.
