Job Title: Technical Writer II

Location: Irving, TX, US

Job Type: Contract, 6 months (with possibility of extension)

Pay: $23.00 - $24.00/Hr. 

Shift Structure:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• 100% Onsite

Job Summary:

• Writes a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses. 

About the Role:

• Draft and create service training materials, manuals and technical service bulletins
• Responsible for coordinating the display of graphics and the production of the document.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures. 
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. 
• Will be trained on the use of a product lifecycle management database for publications
• Documentation work 

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree. Degree in Technical writing is a plus.
• MadCap Flare is a plus
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• Organization skills
• Must have great attention to detail
• Good quality writing skills
• Ability to maintain good regular attendance. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Able to work with a team, follow policy/procedures, and be a self-starter.
• Experience with medical device/FDA regulated environment is a plus
