Location: Gurnee, IL, USA

Job Type: Contract, 4-6 months 

Pay: $68.00 - $73.00/Hr.

Shift Structure:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• On-site

Job Summary:

• Develop and lead cross-functional teams at site to determine, analyze and implement projects to improve value add to customers and shareholders.
• Drive optimization through capital equipment justification and acquisition and introduction of new technologies into existing processes
• Manage projects and maintain accountabilities for the site’s project portfolio
• Continually consider, analyze, and evaluate the impact of advanced Operational practices and levels of automation and technologies

• Ensure Operation capabilities and resources are aligned to support new product introduction including project plans and budgets
• Responsible for compliance with applicable corporate, divisional, and regulatory policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

• B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Seven (7) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably assembly.
• Strong project management skills and experience.
• Ability to motivate, direct and provide technical knowledge and mentoring.
• Ability or aptitude to work on problems that are complex in scope where analysis of situations or data involves multiple competing factors.
• Knowledge of manufacturing planning, documentation systems, GMP and quality; demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
• Knowledge of operations, standards and documentation; ability and aptitude to use various types of databases and other computer software; strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to form and develop interpersonal, professional relationships; display socially and professionally appropriate behavior; ability to quickly gain knowledge, understanding or skills and is willing to learn.
