Pay: $30.19 – $33.06/Hr.

Job Description:

• Examines, analyzes and interprets accounting records to prepare statements and/or advise management. May supervise accounting personnel. 

About the Role:

• Ensure revised global revenue review procedures are performed as designed, providing EY with documentation of the reviews and proper revenue recognition to support interim and annual audits.
• Responsibility for coordinating the establishment of the division’s global revenue recognition policies in accordance with the company’s revenue policies and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Provide revenue recognition technical accounting guidance and support to local entity and BU personnel.
• Actively participating in the SOX scoping process
• Coordination and training of all in‐scope entity personnel with SOX responsibilities
• Division lead for new Archer tool for the division’s SOX program
• Coordination of external and internal audits across the division globally, providing support for adequate documentation for revenue SOX controls, and EY interim and year end testing
• Global support and guidance for accounting compliance with the company’s Corporate Finance Manual and internal controls; ensuring alignment of Alere legacy policies with the company’s policies and procedures
• Coordination across the division for transition of statutory audits to EY from prior auditors
• Audit response support to global entity accounting teams; assisting with entity responses, follow‐up and remediation

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or similar degree
• 5 plus years of combined Finance/Accounting experience is required.
• Public Accounting, Audit, or SOX experience is required.
• Strategic mindset, strong analytical skills and effective communication skills are necessary to succeed in this position.
