Job Description Sanitation Worker - Memphis, TNSummaryThe individual holding this position will be expected to perform the cleaning and sanitizing of food contact, non-food contact surfaces to ensure the production of safe, high-quality products.Essential Job Functions:Clean and sanitize product contact surfaces according to established Standard Safety Operating Procedures such as pipes, valves, tanks, blenders, etc.Clean and sanitizer non-product contact surfaces according to established Standard Safety Operating Procedures such as wall, floors, drains, etc.Monitor chemical concentrationsComplete tasks according to the Master Sanitation ScheduleUtilize computer systems to input and record data as required in regard to safety and sanitationInteract regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork focused environmentUnderstand and adhere to ADM's Safety, Environmental Compliance and Food Quality and goal of achieving a zero-injury culture.Maintaining a safe and clean work environmentExhibit regular and prompt attendance and maintain attendance record in accordance with company policyOther duties as assignedRequirements:Must be 18 years or olderMust be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorshipAbility to understand and effectively communicate in English (verbal/written)High School diploma or equivalentBasic computer skills, (Word and Excel)Experience in production and/or similar military environment (preferred)Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices preferredOn-the-Job Training Requirements:Complete ADM safety, food safety, quality, and environmental trainingParticipate in company planned operations trainingWorking ConditionsAmbient conditions - Work area is, typically, a non-air-conditioned production environment.
