Responsibilities

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• The AP Manager will review and approve/release all transactions paid out of SunGard. This review includes verifying appropriate approval and banking as well as general invoice information.
• Reconciles the Online Payments (Memo Checks) with Treasury as part of the AP Month End Close Process
• Manages the Concur Invoice Accrual Process and Month End including reports for accounting on automated accruals.
• Manages the accumulation of 1099 files and prepares them for import into the 1099 vendor website. The AP manager will also manage the reconciliation of federal and state reporting with the 1099 vendor and handle any corrections.
• Assist Treasury in the Escheat process
• Manages Concur Expense and Invoice set up as the Concur Admin. As the Concur Admin, they will enter Concur support requests and manage any upgrade or changes to Concur as well as troubleshooting system issues.
• Maintains the Concur Vendor import process and works with Accounting on the Vendor Set up in SunGard regarding taxability for vendors.
• Acts as PCard Manger for the company Amex cards including reconciling and entering the month end entry for PCard expenses.
• Maintain appropriate policies and procedures including working with the internal and external auditors on control testing.
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Conduct accounts payable training when needed
• Manages the Accounts Payable Lead Analyst and AP Analyst including approving time sheet and request for time off.
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications, Education and Experience Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Five (5) years of experience in Accounts Payable required
• Five (5) years of managerial experience preferred
