Skorpios Technologies, Inc. is Hiring a Human Resource Generalist Near Albuquerque, NM

Description

 Skorpios Technologies, Inc an innovator in composite silicon photonic technology and semiconductor development, is rapidly expanding. We are in search of hard-working, motivated, and innovative employees to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment. 

We are hiring a Human Resource Generalist to work in our Austin, TX or Albuquerque, NM site. The Human Resource Generalist will be responsible for overseeing, managing and administering the compensation programs, Benefits and HRIS integrity. This role will perform analysis of human resources related projects and programs as well as design and develop them. This role will also partner with the Payroll Administrator to ensure accuracy and work on other HR initiatives and projects as assigned.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Assists in designing a total compensation package based on business goals and strategy.
  • Manages a compensation platform including pricing positions as needed, leveling jobs to support career progression and ensuring internal pricing equity
  • Partners with Recruiting on hiring initiatives and the development of compensation packages to attract top talent while aligning with Skorpios’ compensation philosophy
  • Drives and participates in the final build out of a compensation philosophy and structure, including the development of job families, levels, and grades
  • Creates and analyzes job descriptions, evaluations, and classifications and determines appropriate base pay, bonuses and variable pay programs
  • Administers and communicates the company’s benefits programs in regards to plan options, policy features, enrollment and other requirements.
  • Assists in planning, developing, and redesigning company benefits programs and analyzing benefit costs.
  • Ensures benefits plans are cost-effective and competitive.
  • Collaborates with outside vendors, such as investment brokers, benefits brokers, and benefits vendors.
  • Researches and analyzes benefits plans, programs, and policies.
  • Makes recommendations based on data analyses.
  • Assists with new-hire orientations and educates employees on their benefit programs.
  • Performs quality checks and audits of benefits-related data.
  • Assists with the open enrollment process, employee meetings and education, and communication.
  • Supports additional HR projects and initiatives when needed
  • Assists in ensuring all HRIS are maintained and updated as required which will involve workflow configuration, testing and procedure documentation.
  • Recommend business process improvements to better prepare the company for scale and growth and be inventive in a dynamic work environment.
  • Own change management and rollout communications for tools and solutions you are delivering.
  • Defines and implements data integrity standards and controls, and assures accuracy of all reported data coming out of the HRIS system
  • Serve as a strong consultative partner to the business to understand requirements and outline reporting requirements for assigned projects.
  • Other HR related work such as listening sessions, onboarding, off-boarding, investigations, etc.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct themselves with a high level of discretion

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field of study.
  • 5 years previous working experience in HR with a minimum of 2 years with a direct focus on compensation.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate and analyze data in report
