The role:

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to develop scalable software solutions to complex problems that Skiplagged faces. This is not the type of role where you will spend your days implementing a PM's Jira tickets, but rather you will be part of a collaborative cross-functional team that’s truly responsible for identifying, conceptualizing, and implementing solutions to complex problems. The person in this role will be excited about developing and deploying a complex backend infrastructure improvement one day, and come in the next day with the same amount of passion to build a new feature for the users of our website.

You will be a great fit for this role if:

• You have proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or a similar role
• You are comfortable with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB) and web servers
• You have knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. Python and PHP) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React)
• You have a strong understanding of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
• You have a degree in, and passion for, Computer Science, or relevant field
• You want to utilize both your technical and relational skills to lead meaningful projects to completion
• You are a self-starter and work well in an environment where engineers are expected to find solutions to complex problems
