Human Resources Director

Skilled Wound Care, a leading national surgical physician group servicing nursing homes for wound care, is looking for an experienced and motivated Human Resources Director to join our HR team and support our growing organization! We’re in search of a qualified and resourceful HR Director to lead our HR department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. The HR Director will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization’s mission and talent strategy

Responsibilities:

• Manage the HR department/employees
• Benefit Administration
• Employee Engagement / Feedback Plans
• Advise and strategize with the executive team on policy interpretation and/or implementation
• Identify, develop, and implement communication and training programs for managers, supervisors, and staff; ensure confidentiality of sensitive personnel and payroll information
• Performance Review Management
• Compiling information about compensation and benefits packages based on market data
• Responsible for overseeing the successful operation of the HR Department
• Ensure compliance with all laws related to human resources
• Serve as a strategic partner with executive/senior leaders to influence and guide the development and deployment of strategies, programs, policies, and procedures to identify impact of trends, root causes, and potential solutions to HR issues
• Serve as the onsite labor relations management expert, provide guidance on grievances, manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, and consult on investigations

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Human Resources Director
• Must be willing to work from our office in Playa Vista, CA five days a week 
• Bachelor’s degree required; PHR/ SHRM-CP certification highly preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Experience with Workforce Now ADP a plus

Pay:

• 120k-160k annually with additional potential bonus based on performance
