Skilled Nursing Facilities (3) is Hiring a Housekeeping Aide (Part Time) Near Las Vegas, NV

Our Environmental Services Department is consistently among the highest performing Environmental Services teams in healthcare, and we’re looking to add an Environmental Services Area Cleaner to our team to create a comfortable and safe environment our patients have come to expect. This position is responsible for the cleaning and disinfecting of patient rooms, restrooms, and various common areas assigned to your unit. Other duties include timely completion of discharge and other assorted cleaning requests, establishing rapport with patients, and working alongside fellow caregivers from other departments. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, responsive to changing and pressing requests, proactive in identifying and attending to needs of assigned area, communicates well with others, comfortable working as part of a team, and empathetic towards patients, visitors, and caregivers.

Responsibilities:

  • Scrub floors daily clean windows in-out
  • Vacuum assigned hallways
  • Empty all trash and linen from the housekeepers carts as needed
  • Pick up linen and trash units
  • Pressure wash outside the building
  • Prepared Term clean rooms for housekeepers
  • Check elevators and track to ensure cleanliness.
  • Ensure that assigned areas are kept clean and neat
  • Clean assigned stairwells.
  • Frequently spot-check and clean hallways.
  • Clean ice machines, vending machines
  • Other duties as assigned.
