Siskin Children's Institute is Hiring an Occupational Therapist - Full time/Part time Near Chattanooga, TN
Description
We are looking for a passionate and energetic pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our interdisciplinary team.
The OT will be responsible for delivering family-centered care including evaluation services and the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans. The OT will also be responsible for appropriate documentation and communication with the child’s interdisciplinary team. The OT may also provide clinical supervision for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA).
Requirements
Education
Master’s degree in occupational therapy from an ACOTE accredited program. Successful completion of the NBCOT certification exam.
License/Certification
Current Tennessee OT license required. Current CPR/BLS certification required.
Experience
One (1) to three (3) years of experience in a pediatric setting required. Preferred experience in a pediatric setting for children with special needs. Must possess specific skills and knowledge of occupational therapy intervention techniques. Spanish-English bilingual proficiency welcomed.
