What We Are Currently Looking For:

DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER I (HYBRID SCHEDULE) - SIMPSON HOUSING CORPORATE OFFICES - DENVER, CO

As a key member of our corporate Information Technology team, you will be responsible for the following: 

• Deriving business requirements from customer input and producing formal scope, requirement, timeline, design, quality assurance, and configuration management deliverables in accordance with company Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) standards
• Designing, developing, and ensuring quality assurance of client facing database driven solutions and middle tier business logic according to industry accepted practices
• Communicating with project stakeholders as necessary apprising them of project process
• Implementing solutions according to company configuration management processes
• Supporting, maintaining, and administering all internally developed software, database, and related hardware solutions and platforms
• Providing Tier 3 technical support to 3rd party applications

Qualifications

Qualifications

Candidates who apply should have:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in current software development
• Excellent communication skills and ability to deal effectively with customers
• Expertise in developing SQL Server database solutions utilizing T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and ohter programmability methods
• Familiarity with and experience in developing Power BI reporting solutions
• Ability to install, configure, administer, and maintain SQL Server database platform
• Familiarity with Yardi Voyager report development
• Familiarity with standard Windows APIs and Active Directory architectures
• Familiarity with Visual Basic, VBScript, and/or Visual Basic for Applications
• Familiarity with PowerShell, DAX, and JSON

Pay Range: $67,000 to $77,000

This pay range is approximate and the actual pay received may vary dependent upon certain factors such as related job experience, education, training, professional/industry certifications, etc. Please note that this pay range does not include any additional compensation such as commissions or bonuses that this position may be eligible for.
