SUMMARY OF ROLE

Responsible for handling in-home appointments (company-set and position-generated), guiding homeowners in window treatment design, and closing sale of services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Handles in-home appointments with clients and guides in prospective design using current inventory.
• Makes “rough” measurements to an acceptable degree of accuracy to develop quote for services.
• Generates leads for new business opportunities.
• Follows up with clients after installation to ensure satisfaction.
• Keeps management informed by submitting timely activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
• Achieves or exceeds sales goals or quotas
• Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

• Engages regularly with customers to ensure a customary satisfactory experience.
• Attends staff meetings and training as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Availability to work a flexible work schedule Monday-Saturday mornings, afternoons and evenings.

QUALFICATIONS

• 3 years of in-home sales experience and a great sales record
• Interior design experience a plus
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check and other pre-employment screening.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Able to lift & carry items up to 50 lbs.
• Able to drive for long periods of time
• Able to walk for long periods of time
• See well (naturally or with correction).

Able to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
