ROOFER (Journeyman)

Simon Roofing is seeking skilled-experienced low slope flat roofers (single ply, coatings, foam, metal) who are interested in establishing a long-term career with a top of the industry company and are ready to work in a fast-paced environment. We offer plenty of work and possible overtime.

Expectations:

• 2 Years of Commercial Flat Roofing experience.
• All applicants must be eligible to work in the US, minimum of 18 years old and pass pre-employment drug screen.
• High School diploma, or GED/equivalent.
• Able and willing to travel out of town for 3 to 4 weeks consecutively at a time, when local work is not available.
• Responsible for tearing off and installing and repairing commercial roofing systems safely and efficiently.
• This position requires the ability to climb ladders and lift heavy loads (50-100 lbs.)
• This position requires the ability to occasionally stand and move comfortably on sloped roofs.
• This position requires stamina to work in extreme heat or cold.
• This position requires the ability to work in dusty and/or wet conditions.
• Properly measure and cut materials.
• This position requires kneeling for extended periods of time, pushing/pulling, and repetitive motions.
