• Works alongside and reports to the Administrator in directing, through key personnel, all community operations.
• Will oversee The Loft, Silverado's Independent Living concept at the community.

• The LOFT Program Director will oversee the LOFT, a unique and innovative concept in memory care, supporting an active, brain-healthy lifestyle for individuals living with the early stages of dementia. The LOFT combines Silverado’s research-based Nexus brain health program with experiential living at its best. They will ensure seamless team management and development, partnering with all departments within the community, to implement, develop, and deliver resident programs. It will also include managing a budget and spend-down.

Qualifications:

Education:

• A Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

• Two years of general management in long-term care or related field.
• A successful track record indicating a working knowledge of regulations relating to managing an Assisted Living community.
• Knowledge of total quality management principles and experience using a team approach management style.

Supervisory Experience:

• Preferred one year of experience supervising others to include: setting performance expectations, coaching, motivating, promoting collaboration and teamwork, promoting company culture, managing change, providing performance feedback, delegating effectively, resolving conflicts, etc.

Other:

• Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Must be comfortable working in an environment with pets and assisting in the care of community pets, including, but not limited to, dogs, cats, and birds.
• Willing to demonstrate passion and ability to work with people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia-related disease.
