General Summary:

Serves our valued customers by providing excellent customer service and sales through fast and accurate processing of orders, problem resolution, communication, and coordinating with other departments to resolve inquires. Often the first point of customer contact for general inquiries like purchasing, pricing, products, services, scheduling, etc.

Essential Job Functions:

• Develops product and service solutions; sells products and services, answers product and service questions; provides information about other products and services.
• Processes service requests and opens customer accounts, maintains customer records, updating account information, enters service requests in databases, i.e., ANPI, LIDB, records and processes information for trouble tickets.
• Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction; following up to ensure resolution.
• Processes Account Receivables and establishes payment arrangements.
• Answers phones, directs calls through the ACD queue.
• Prepares and maintains directory information for the local telephone directory and directory assistance.
• Maintains an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments through training and self-development.
• Attends company sponsored events such as community projects, parades, etc.
• Supports Company through personal use of products and services and proactively promoting it within the community.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience / Requirements:

• High School diploma, prefer an Associate’s degree in related field plus two years Customer Service/Sales experience.
• Knowledgeable and passionate for Technology a must.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekend and holidays.
• Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. The ideal person for this job would be a team player, personable, positive, professional, upbeat, and energetic, takes initiative, uses tact and diplomacy.
• Work requires continual attention to detail. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
• Resourceful, Roll up the sleeves attitude. The successful candidate must have the initiative to resolve problems and seek answers independently and enthusiastically persist until goals are achieved.
• Ability to professionally speak to SSC’s products and services.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to navigate various software packages.
• Ability to hold a valid Wyoming or Idaho Driver’s License.
• Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English)
