SUMMARY: The Email Marketing Specialist is passionate about creating thoughtful and engaging emails to communicate with our customers around the world. Both a creative and analytical thinker, the Email Marketing Specialist possess excellent writing skills. They will be responsible for the timely and detailed execution of email marketing campaigns for the Silver Oak, Twomey, Timeless Napa Valley and OVID brands. As a key member of the performance marketing team, they will increase customer engagement and drive long-term brand loyalty in a channel that is thriving with even greater growth potential. 

This role will work closely with colleagues and agencies across the Content, Digital Marketing, IT and Public Relations functions to coordinate and implement cohesive campaign assets and messaging. The Email Marketing Specialist is the primary copywriter for the email function and will provide creative direction and manage email marketing campaign photography. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

· Design and implement all email marketing campaigns across Silver Oak, Twomey, Timeless Napa Valley and OVID Napa Valley.

· Write, test and send all e-comm marketing emails. Proofread all emails for clarity, grammar and spelling. Communicate email creative and offers with customer care, retail and wholesale colleagues.

· Test, refine and apply target audience insights.

· Work with Director of Marketing to build email list growth strategy and identify special offers for email marketing campaigns

· Track and analyze campaign results. Prepare campaign reports for Management Team

· Collaborate with Content Marketing Manager to identify, strategize and execute direct mail projects to complement direct email marketing campaigns.

· Ongoing improvement of email templates using graphics, personalization and advanced features.

· Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements.

· Ensure emails follow all industry policies and best practices.

· Assist with all commercial photo shoots for email marketing campaigns – imagery for email, web and social media

· Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

· 2-3 years of experience in CRM and/or email marketing

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field is preferred 

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Deep experience with a variety of analytics platforms, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar email service provider, and Google Analytics

· Hands on experience with HTML and content management systems

· Proficiency in marketing automation technology

· Knowledge of SEO/SEM and Google Analytics

· Knowledge of website development and marketing databases

· Knowledge of print production and direct mail process

· Passionate about email marketing and curious about wine

· A passion for planning and organization to stay in front of the curve

· A keen eye toward the details

· Critical thinker with strong conceptual skills, ability to motivate others and deliver against priorities 

· Team-oriented with developed leadership and project management skills

· Motivated, self-starter with a positive and professional demeanor

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

· This employee will have the option to work a remote or hybrid schedule. To be determined with manager.

· When in the workplace, office is an open atmosphere, can be busy and distracting
