Signature Solar is looking for an experienced Journeyman electrician to evaluate, assemble, Install solar equipment, wire according to electrical code standards, and maintain Solar systems in equipment which are predominantly portable. The electrical technician does not design electrical systems but will identify potential problems in the design.

To be successful as an electrical technician, you should be able to read electrical system design plans and recommend improvements, and diagnose faulty equipment.

A successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical, Solar equipment, inverters, batteries, solar panels

• Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning solar equipment, and apparatus

• Constructing and fabricating parts, using hand tools and specifications

• Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics

• Advising management on continued use of unsuitable equipment, appliances, and apparatus

• Supervising electricians

• Ordering of electrical supplies and equipment

• Install conduit pull wire 

A successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Good communication skills

Qualifications:

• 4-years of electrical preferred

• Licensed electrician, or related degree

• Completion of an electrical apprenticeship

• At least 4 years' experience Journeyman Electrical license required

• Experience operating hand and power tools, soldering and fault-testing equipment
