Signature Companies is Hiring a Delivery Driver (Full-Time) Near Chambersburg, PA
Description
Signature Companies supplies kitchen cabinets, stairs, and railings to home builders throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
Drivers at Signature Companies deliver loads throughout Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Delaware. Delivery Drivers unload trucks with a helper to new home sites. Material is hand delivered into the house.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain accurate records and logs.
- Unload our products at local job sites.
- Ensure the safety of yourself and the delivery crew.
- Good interpersonal skills, including professionalism in dealing with team members and the public.
- Maintain delivery standards and procedures.
- Maintenance of the truck fleet to DOT standards.

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday. Opportunity for advancement or promotion to CDL Driver Position (will train - based on tenure and performance as a delivery driver)
Jobs pay $19 - $21 / hour starting wage
Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 21 yrs of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to pass D.O.T. physical.
- Two or more year's delivery experience of a 26' straight truck preferred but we will consider any truck driving experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to lift heavy products (75lbs).
Please note that we are seeking individuals who can pass a DOT physical. We would prefer to hire drivers who have driven the equivalent of box trucks or bigger and know the DC, N Virginia, Maryland areas. The Company is willing to train helpers with the understanding of them being drivers in the future.
