Overview:Signalink is looking for a Systems Administrator to join the team as an integral member of a team of government, military, and contractor personnel that provide program, engineering, and technical support at NAS Pax River in Maryland.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Managing Windows, Linux, or Mac systems
• Upgrading, installing, and configuring application software and computer hardware
• Troubleshooting and providing technical support to employees
• Creating and managing system permissions and user accounts
• Performing regular security tests and security monitoring
• Maintaining networks and network file systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience in Red Hat/Linux
• Experience with server builds, RAID, OS install, and application install
• Up to 20% travel
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a related field
• Experience supporting a DoD environment
