Overview:Signalink is looking for an Electrical Engineer II to join the team as an integral member of a team of government, military, and contractor personnel that provide program, engineering, and technical support at Ft. Eustis. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial, or domestic purposes.
• Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.
• Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.
• Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps.
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience
• Ability to utilize Windchill Data Base systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Up to 10% travel
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a related field
• Certifications in ProEngineer/CREO and Windchill
• Experience with Army rotary wing electrical designs
