Position Summary

The Training Specialist will take the lead on creating and delivering training for the Members of the Sorority, as well as the staff at our International Corporate Headquarters (ICHQ). In this role, you will partner with Leadership, Human Resources, and IT to identify and implement best practices, training and assessments to support our strategic objectives.

Essential Job Functions

• Develop training resources for the membership, affiliates, and internal staff
• Create an annual compliance plan to include but not limited to sexual harassment, workplace violence, and DEI
• Identify external training providers to deliver specialized training where expertise is not available within ICHQ
• Manages the LMS to ensure all modules and information is up to date
• Deliver in-person or virtual training sessions
• Partner with Leadership and HRBP to coordinate professional development days
• Support departmental initiatives and identify ways to enhance training

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3-5 years of increasing responsibility in a training role
• In-person and online instructional design
• Curriculum development, small and large group facilitation
• Ability to create learner-centered, engaging content for multiple delivery methods
• Proficiency with assessment techniques and strategies, and implementation on large and small scales
• Experience with membership organizations
• Experience with iMIS is a plus
