Sigma Equipment is Hiring a Marketing Strategist Near Evansville, IN

As the Marketing Strategist for SIGMA Group, you will work alongside the Marketing Department to develop, create and execute marketing strategies for a variety of brands and departments within SIGMA Group. This includes providing project/brand strategy, project management, and execution of marketing materials for digital and traditional channels, etc.

The goal is to cohesively tell the story of SIGMA Group, all of its divisions, and push the brands forward. We want to highlight how we differ from our competitors and give our external teams valuable information with marketing material to generate new leads and ultimately, new sales. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Creates marketing strategies to launch and market new products, brands, and initiatives
  • Uses customer feedback to ensure client satisfaction
  • Research market trends
  • Provides analysis and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Manages projects for their recommended strategies and helps execute
  • Create and maintain project briefs and coordinate with stakeholders to properly requirement gather
  • Helps shape the branding and narrative of divisions to proper audiences
  • Analyzes data to ensure strategies are working and provide recommendations if not aligned with campaign KPIs
  • Ensures marketing strategies align with overall business strategy
  • Write, edit, and distribute marketing materials for virtually any marketing project needed. Including, but not limited to brochures, case studies, product collateral, social media, email marketing, website content, intranet, internal marketing, press releases, etc. 
  • Create and optimize website content to fit the best search engine optimization strategies 
  • Work cross-functionally with the SIGMA Marketing team and leadership during the marketing collateral development process
  • Manage, maintain, and grow the social media presence of the SIGMA Group brand and employee followers
  • Conduct real-time monitoring of customer reviews; develop and obtain approval for responses where appropriate
  • Maintain and enhance PPC (Pay-Per-Click) campaigns and provide reporting when needed
  • Order and maintain relationships with vendors for marketing collateral
  • Regularly attend and immerse themselves in the brands they are responsible for. Including attending standups, alignment meetings, project meetings, etc. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4 years of Marketing Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Writing, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required 
  • Collaborative and willing to work with multiple cross-functional teams
  • Must be able to conduct research, interpret source material, write for diverse audiences, and communicate concisely on technical as well as promotional subject matter.
  • An understanding or desire to learn digital and traditional marketing paid and organic search, and search engine marketing is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills are a plus.
  • Direct personal contact with internal and external sources is required.

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of AP writing style
  • HTML, and CSS skills are a plus 
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • SEO knowledge 
  • Google Analytics Certification is a plus
  • Google Ads Certification is a plus
  • Understanding of Google Tag Manager
  • Wordpress knowledge is a plus
