SUMMARY

Reporting to the Maintenance & Facilities Manager, the Maintenance Planner support the activity of the Maintenance Team, and provide plans for Preventive, Predictive and Project / Backlog Maintenance work. Responsible for the planning and scheduling of all maintenance work performed, individual shall promote safety, quality and reliability by improving maintenance workforce productivity and work quality through effective planning and scheduling and ensuring parts and resources are available and ready when needed. Maintain CMMS / ERP, meet production deadlines and monitor maintenance spending.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establish, maintain and improve the Maintenance Planning and Scheduling process. Develop and maintain project and repair timelines to planned schedule.
• Develop and implement plans in collaboration with maintenance, operations and purchasing to minimize cost and maintain inventories to ensure supply and part availability for the continued operation of the plant.
• Evaluate maintenance notifications and review equipment inspections. Create Work Orders as needed or giving feedback to requestors.
• Create work orders monitor work orders and PMs for timely completion and system accuracy.
• Responsible for maintenance purchasing activities including creating purchase requisitions and receive maintenance purchase orders.
  • Analyze, order and maintain maintenance storeroom inventories and blanket orders.
  • Review invoices for accuracy and to monitor spending.
  • Maintain Asset BOMs.
• Manage vendor activity to ensure timely completion of outside maintenance activities. Coordinate part and repair quotes for maintenance. Suggest to managers best vendor based on cost, quality and deliver.
• Print Maintenance work orders for maintenance team execution.
• Maintain / order critical spare or replacement parts, utilization of proper financial procedures and company policies.
• Create critical spares capital expenditure submissions.
• Track / analyze data, generate and distribute cost reports, downtime, critical metrics and trend analysis reports; providing feedback to Maintenance team members on potential issues and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain maintenance and storeroom performance metrics relative to inventory, cost down town and return to service goals.
