Sierra Pharmacy in Glendora, CA is looking for a pharmacy technician to join our 6 person strong team. Our ideal candidate is a great communicator, proficient at data entry, flexible in learning all technical roles, steps up to the plate for the team, and is courteous but efficient.

Position Summary

Collaborate with the pharmacist to perform the necessary dispensing duties according to professional standards and state and federal legal requirements. Role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities

*Display adaptability and competency in excelling at all aspects of pharmacy workflow *Master software applications and type prescriptions accurately and efficiently *Effectively communicate by phone and in person with customers and physician's offices *Greet customers and provide excellent customer service *Research and follow up on third party billing problems *Display accuracy and attention to detail in dispensing medications *Order prescription and designated non-prescription pharmacy products *Perform cashiering functions

Qualifications

*Minimum 18 years of age *High School diploma or general education degree *CPhT license must be in good standing *1-2 years retail or long-term care experience preferred *Proficiency in Rx30 a plus

Required Certifications/Licenses: Pharmacy Board License

Position Type: Part-Time; Full-Time

Shift(s): M-F, 9-6

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation depends on your experience.
