Sierra Nevada Realtors is Hiring a Marketing Associate Near Empire, NV

The Sierra Nevada REALTORS® is a local trade organization in Northern Nevada for real estate professionals in 6 counties (Washoe, Douglas, Carson, Storey, Lyon, and Churchill, not including the jurisdiction of Incline Village). The Association is part of the National Association of REALTORS®. The Association works to promote private property rights and the real estate profession in Northern Nevada. The staff of the Association work for the Chief Executive Officer to execute the strategic plan and to promote REALTORS® as trusted experts in the industry.

BASIC FUNCTION:

Performs a wide variety of tasks as they relate to communication and marketing of Association business on variety of platforms to communicate with members and the public. Works with the Vice-President of Operations and the Chief Executive Officer as needed to complete and execute projects.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Design

Utilization of Brand Guidelines in all marketing and communications when creating marketing and communication assets.

Design and produce marketing assets for departments within the Association to communicate events, call-to-actions, and resources. Includes, images, flyers, and print materials to be utilized by staff and committee members in prompting events.

Maintain and create supplies for staff and board members includes business cards, stationary, name badges.

Works with staff on brochures, flyers, and internal marketing to support day to day business operations.

Website

1. Manage website to ensure all content is relevant to business, accurate and current as it relates to the Association, includes events, education courses, committee information, and government affairs.

2. Works with Association marketing partner and public relations company on large projects as they relate to the website.

Works with Vice-President of Operations and Chief Executive Officer on website functionality and consistent branded appearance.

Social Media

Create social media content that is relevant to each platform (Facebook, twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Vimeo, YouTube)

Must be able to create short videos and produce live feeds when necessary to communicate Association Business

Maintain social media channels to reflect local, state, and National Association of REALTORS® communication on topics and business.

Newsletters and e-communications

Produce and coordinate the distribution of the Association e-News to membership via electronic format.

Must be able to create templates for different departments within the Association to edit and use in call to actions.

Create and implement drip campaigns for new members, affiliate resource guide, and education.

Independently write and/or research articles for newsletter, as necessary.

Video and Audio communications

Create scripts, talking points, and dialogue for video and audio recordings.

Must be able to record, edit, and produce videos and audio recordings.

Must be able to work with third party vendors currently contracted with the Association to execute reoccurring video projects.

Create in house videos and PSA for use on monitors, during presentations, and as screen savers in classrooms. Rotate on a Monthly basis.

Additional Responsibilities

1. Must create a weekly list of communication assets to send to NNMRLS staff for publication to MLS website.

2. Must be able to actively generate ads and evergreen articles on benefits of the Association it’s programs, resources, and benefits to members on a continual basis.

Assist in projects in progress, initiate actions upon request of management of new projects.

Prepare or finalize correspondence independently wherever possible, by either composing and sending replies or preparing drafts for management review and approval.

5. Manages trademark violations and inquiries.

6. Uses content management system for email campaigns as a delivery of communication to Association membership when needed.

Ability to lift to 25 lbs.

Skills and Qualifications

1. Skilled in tools to create marketing images, graphics, and documents.

2. Intermediary skill set of tools to schedule and automate communications and marketing of Association Business

3. Intermediary skill set of all social media platforms.

4. Intermediary skill set in video creation, includes production and processing of final products for release.

5. Skilled in blogging, podcasting, and development of print articles to create content.

6. Intermediary skill set of electronic newsletters and communication systems.

7. Ability to utilize multiple methods of communication phone, email, text, zoom, teams, etc.

8. Ability to utilize project management systems.

9. Ability to work adjusted schedule for events and Association business activities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Reno, NV: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
