We are looking for an experienced 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to join our team in Sedalia, Missouri. The Production supervisor manages work assignments in staffing, scheduling, coordinating, continuous improvement, and planning of personnel engaged in production activities. Responsible to monitor and communicate status of production output, quality, safety and resource levels to support production requirements.
Essential Functions of the Job
• Ensure that production in the plant is performing at the required level to reach goals.
• Analyze on-floor performance using production data.
• Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.
• Monitor production to resolve issues.
• Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel.
• Report to upper management.
• Communicating to other personnel the status of machines/processes
• Safety enforcement
• Ensuring problems are solved or escalated quickly
• Team building
• Bringing departments together to solve issues.
Requirements

• Ensure output meets quality standards.
• Enforce health and safety precautions.
• Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials, etc.)

Educational Requirements Needed to Perform the Duties of the Job
- Prior management experience preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Physical Requirements to Perform the Duties of the Job
• Eyestrain, keyboard ergonomics, and mental acuity. Minimal lifting, long periods of standing and
sitting.
• 75% on production floor 25% office.
Experience Required to Perform the Duties of the Job
• 5-7 years in Manufacturing environment
