SI Enginering, P.C. is Hiring a Resident Engineer Near Brookhaven, NY

SI Engineering, P.C. (SIE) is a full service consulting engineering firm based in downtown Manhattan providing services in civil, structural, transportation engineering, bridge & facility inspection, construction management & inspection and lighting design. We are engaged in local community improvement projects to large, high-profile, multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects with a strong reputation of delivering a wide range of projects for our clients in the public sector.SIE is looking for a Resident Engineer to oversee a bridge repair project located in Brookhaven, NY. This is a Full-Time Long-Term position reporting to the EIC. Responsibilities:

Monitor contractor's work.
Lead and conduct progress meetings
Manage direct reports including Inspectors and Office Engineer
Ensure the construction is as per plan and specifications
Manage daily logs, submittals, change orders, estimates, invoices
Ensure safety of the construction project

Qualification & Skills:

Either Bachelor’s in Engineering or NICET IV Certification required
Minimum of 10 years of experience working as a Resident Engineer or Chief Inspector on NYSDOT projects
