SUMMER 2023

Shure offers a challenging, fun and rewarding summer internship program. The twelve-week program is offered to undergraduate students that have completed at least 2 years of college, as well as graduate students. We offer internships with a variety of work arrangements from onsite interns to fully remote in US. Each intern will receive a competitive salary. Applications will be collected, reviewed, and selected candidates will be contacted in late fall/early winter.

The Software Engineering Intern is a member of our talented engineering team and is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing/analysis of our products in the Shure’s Stem Ecosystem. Superb technical capability is essential in this position as the Software Engineering Intern is responsible for integrating and upholding the following six standards of our product design: flexibility, scalability, reliability, controllability, simplicity, and intuitiveness.

This Internship can be Onsite or Hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for full lifecycle of a feature including gather requirements, design, implementation, test, and maintenance
• Develop and maintain Embedded Linux and cross platform applications
• Collaborate with internal hardware, software, and web development teams

Qualifications

• In-process of a bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, with a minimum of two years of coding coursework
• Proficiency in C/C , C#, Javascript, Python, HTML and CSS
• Knowledge of software life cycle, agile methodology, data structures and algorithms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Thrives in a team working environment
• High energy, self-motivated, and positive attitude
• Good verbal and written communication skills
