This is a part-time and fill-in server position, Wage can vary based on experience.

The Dining Assistant/Waiter serves our residents and guests and takes orders for meals and cleans tables after meals. Prepares and serves meals for the dietary department in a safe and appetizing method in compliance with dietary standards, policy and procedures. Cleans kitchen, washes dishes, and returns food to proper storage.
- Must hold a current food handling card as required by the state; we can assist you in getting this
- Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job
- Ability to remain calm under stressful conditions and make decisions
- Must be able to work full or part time on a regular schedule, and on-call as needed; must have reliable tranportation to work
- Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public
- Must meet all health requirements, including TB
- Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must pass criminal background check
- Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
