This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the patient appointment with a focus on obtaining authorizations for patient's with upcoming appointments; as well as, those being referred to outside providers for services, insurance verification and referrals as needed. This position relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and works under immediate supervision of the CBO AR Supervisor. Customer service skills, computer skills and phone etiquette are essential for the position. Medical office experience required.
