WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

· The Tier 1, IT Technician performs efficient troubleshooting and computer/network triage as necessary. 

· Perform duties, during peak season, beyond the scheduled work week and provide on-call support as needed; weekend and evening work will be required. 

· Provides ‘first responder’ support to end users, verbally and electronically to IT issues. 

· Diagnoses and resolves tier 1 technical hardware and software issues. 

· Coordinates resolution of technical issues with support and vendor teams for various hardware and software vendors. 

· Supports all network devices including: routers, firewalls, switches, or wireless access points. 

· Provides training to end users in the basics of network navigation and use of MS Office applications. 

· Performs preventative maintenance and practices disaster recovery.

· Documents accurate and concise case notes using ticket systems. 

· Assist Management Team as directed.

Requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

· High School Diploma or equivalent or IT-related field with high technical aptitude. 

· Knowledge of multiple software applications.

· Strong skills using current MS Office and Windows 7/Server 2008. 

· MS Windows support experience.

· A , Security , Network etc. a plus
