The Job: Shoot Smart Alliance is seeking qualified candidates for Shift Supervisor. This position is open to internal and external applicants.

This position is the point of sale system expert and directly supervises the flow of customer traffic. Recommends and documents best practices, procedures, and policies governing how Shoot Smart interacts with customers. Trains and supports range guides in using the point of sale system, in providing excellent customer service, and in expediting the flow of traffic between customer touch points. 

Qualified shift supervisors must have a Range Guide II experience level, or equivalent. One to 3 years in retail sales or customer service is preferred. The selected candidate should expect to work primarily closing and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays. You'll be asked to take on additional assignments, work events, and take on the role of company cheerleader in the community. You'll be expected to engage in the training program to improve your skills, contribute to the improvement of the company, and maintain the facilities in impeccable condition.

You will inspire Range Guides to master lane management. You'll coach them on customer service and point of sale skills. You'll support the manager(s) as a reliable "go-to" senior team player and serve as Manager on Duty as assigned, including the responsibilities of store closing, security, and cash management. You'll have expertise in firearms compliance, transfers, receiving, and inventory basics, and you'll demonstrate personal safety best practices. 

Candidates should be able to lift more than 25lbs, stand for long durations, don/doff protective equipment, and submit to background checks, drug screens, and blood tests.

• Firearm proficiency and basic knowledge is a plus, but not required
• Minimum 18 years old
• Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screen
