We are looking for a qualified individual to join our team as a Human Resources Manager at our Administrative Office! 

How You Will Make a Difference:

As the Human Resources Manager, you will work closely with senior leadership to build specific long term and short-term strategies, action plans, and goals by defining the internal/external benchmarks that will ensure that the needs of our diverse client base are met, and their experiences amplified. You will also partner with the HR team and the department leadership team on the definition and execution of the organization's inclusion strategy to attract, engage and retain a powerfully diverse, talented workforce worldwide and drive a culture of inclusion that unleashes the potential of all our employees to drive competitive advantage.

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for direct supervision of the Human Resources Supervisor, Human Resources Specialist and Human Resources Assistant. 

Hours: Full time, Monday- Friday 8:30-5:00 (must be flexible outside these hours)

Office Location: Littleton

Responsibilities & Duties include:

  • The Human Resources Manager is responsible for all aspects of Human Resources which includes but is not limited to: recruiting, on-boarding, training, employee relations, policies and procedures, compensation, benefits, rewards and recognition, HRIS, Worker’s Compensation, employee relations/disciplinary actions, unemployment claims and safety, as well as compliance with all federal and state regulations with the assistance of Employers Council and agency legal council.
  • The employee will provide support, guidance and training to the Human Resources team on all daily HR functions which is not limited to: recruiting, on-boarding, training, employee relations, policies and procedures, compensation, benefits, rewards and recognition, HRIS, Worker’s Compensation, employee relations/disciplinary actions, unemployment claims and safety.
  • The employee will manage the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles, while collaborating with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • The employee will partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resources and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs.
  • The employee will execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
  • The employee will oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • The employee will partner with leadership and the training department to create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • The employee will maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices, review policies and practices to maintain compliance with the assistance of the Employers Council and agency legal council.
  • The employee will oversee all aspects of onboarding while ensuring the Human Resources team is maintaining compliance.
  • The employee will oversee the screening process for applicants, ensuring the Human Resources team is performing the prerequisites for candidates.
  • The employee will collaborate with department managers to meet staffing needs.
  • The employee will represent the company culture and values.
  • The employee will organize and participate in job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  • The employee will author documents including but not limited to specialized correspondence, statistical reporting, agency policy and procedure and legal responses on an ongoing basis.
  • The employee will aid in identifying opportunities to streamline processes to support quality improvement.
  • The employee will participate in the development, review and implementation of agency policy on an ongoing basis.
  • The employee will work with the training department to ensure personnel requirements for all staff are met:
  • The employee will act as an agency representative with outside entities, including but not limited to the State Department of Human Services and CBI.
  • The employee will review all agency supervision notes for legal and internal policy compliance on an ongoing basis.
  • The employee will assist in implementing accreditation policies and procedures.
  • The employee will follow the Change of Position and Promotion process for all internal applicants, on an ongoing basis.
  • The employee will assist the Business/Finance department with various projects, including but not limited to payroll, benefits, training reimbursements/promissory notes, resignations, workers comp time off, wages, etc.
  • The employee will provide guidance on the organization’s training requirements and responsibilities including required compensation and accommodations under federal and state employment laws including Title VII, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Occupational Safety and Health Act, and other employment, health, or safety statutes and programs with the assistance of Employers Council.

Compensation: In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this Colorado position is between $66,000 - $76,000 per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job related factors permitted by law.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid CO driver's license or have the ability to obtain one
  • Must meet agency MVR criteria
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Instructional Design, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. 
  • At least three years of related experience required. 
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred. 
  • Must have exceptional organizational skills, and be able to multi-task
  • Must have managerial experience 
  • Must be willing to work Full time hours typically, Monday- Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm
  • The Human Resources Manager will demonstrate experience in programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
  • The Human Resources Manager will maintain a professional appearance and be customer service oriented.
