• Physical stamina to lift patients and spend long hours standing and modeling exercises.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to review and evaluate patient’s medical history, conditions and needs
• Assessing the patient’s physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan.
• Personal attention and progressive restorative therapy to achieve highest level of recovery and function in daily tasks.
• Giving advice and providing support for family members and Caregiver
• Teach therapeutic exercises, techniques and stretches to improve condition.
• Installing the necessary equipment in the classroom for children with disabilities and teaching them how to use the equipment
• Helping adult patients to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances
• Assisting patients’ exercise for pain relief
• Maintain patient records by keeping track of goals and progress while reviewing the patient's progress and adapting treatment plans accordingly.
• Recommend adaptive equipment’s and instruct patients on their uses.
• Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls
• Assist other facility staff members as needed to provide care and create a clean, orderly and effective environment for rehabilitation and physical therapy.
