Sherman Oaks Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is Hiring a Healthcare Recruiter Near Sherman Oaks, CA

SUMMARY: Maintains hiring process in facility by providing full lifecycle recruitment. Responsible for supporting the organization’s business objectives by developing creative sourcing strategies, interviewing, evaluating, and placing Long-Term Care professionals in the facility. Acts as an internal talent acquisition expert through effectively building relationships and striving to understand the LTC industry. Assists in providing client facility with a high level of customer service by performing the duties as described below.

  • Note: Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (with Booster vaccine, if eligible)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with the facility administrator and other facility leaders to keep an accurate list of all open positions. This report is called and open positions or vacancy report.

  • Use the facility’s job posting templates and create your own job ads for placement on job boards.
  • Create flyers, posters, cards, brochures, mailers and other materials to advertise job openings in the facility and local community.
  • Create and post content for social media and digital platforms to advertise your job openings.
  • Create and execute employee referral campaigns.
  • Find and/or create alternative sourcing channels and ways to advertise open positions.
  • Ask your supervisor and corporate recruiting staff for resources and support when your job postings are not generating adequate applicant volume.
  • Search job board resume databases for qualified candidate resumes.
  • Daily monitor applicant volume and request sponsorship changes as needed.
  • Screen and contact candidates within 15 minutes of their application when possible. Text, call, and contact applicants to schedule interviews as soon as possible. Confirm interviews repeatedly to ensure candidates will show up as scheduled.
  • Ensure candidates are highly engaged throughout every step of the sourcing, interview and onboarding process.
  • Serve as a host for candidate visits to the facility for both first and second interviews as well as new employee orientations and onboarding activities. Be prepared to serve as the only interviewer if the hiring manager is unexpectedly unavailable.
  • Meet with your administrator on a daily basis to review the results of your work and discuss strategies to ensure open positions are filled in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that the candidate’s visit to the facility is a positive experience. Serve as the host for candidate visits to the facility and assist with transitions between administrator and other manager interviews. Talk with the candidate before he/she leaves the facility to ensure a positive experience. Answer questions and explain next steps in the hiring process.
  • Update the Administrator and all appropriate managers daily on all interview activity.
  • Work with your administrator to ensure you meet personal and facility goals for recruiting activity.
  • Create a written facility plan for hosting candidate interviews. This plan should be designed to ensure that all candidates have a good experience when visiting the facility.
  • Use the following reports daily to manage your recruiting activity: open position report, call log, interview log, candidate pipeline report and hire vs. term report. Your administrator may direct you to use custom reports and/or an applicant tracking system.
  • Remain engaged with new employees for 90 days to ensure retention.
  • Read additional materials on recruiting that are provided by your administrator and corporate resources.
  • Performs other duties or functions as assigned by the Administrator and/or RDO.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Experience sourcing candidates through multiple channels (web/social media/ professional networks, employee referrals, cold calling, following up on leads, etc.).
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Requires mental maturity to deal with fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to speak Spanish or any other non-English language helpful but not required.

Pay: TBD and offered during interview: Negotiable depending on previous professional healthcare experience!

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
