As a System Engineer at Shepherd Insurance, you will be a part of our Information Technology department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provide excellent support and customer service to all end users in a timely fashion.

· Monitor incoming technical support tickets and provide response in a timely fashion.

· Setup and configure new laptops and desktops for deployment.

· Asset Tiger administration – keep assets up to date.

· Installation and setup of phones for new users.

· Complete internal user moves.

· Repair of computers and laptops as needed.

· Provide remote support to end users via Bomgar or other means as necessary.

· Document in Service Now ticketing system.

· Work in conjunction with 3rd party IT vendor relating to support issues, escalate to 3rd party when needed.

· Recommend IT purchases to the Director of Technology.

· Escalate IT issues to the Director of Technology.

· Other duties as defined by the Director of Technology.

Requirements

· Associates degree in related field, or High School diploma with relevant certifications and 5 years of experience is preferred.

· Strong consideration for candidates with experience with Insurance systems such as AMS 360.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Knowledge of standard technology tools and protocols such as: Microsoft 365 and Office suite, TCP/IP, WiFi, Internet Browsers, and ticketing systems.

· Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.

· Travel may be required.
