Warehouse Manager Night Shift

Position Summary: Shepherd Electric Supply, a leading Wholesale Distributor since 1892, headquartered in Rosedale with locations in Laurel, Fredrick, Washington DC and Sterling, VA, is seeking a highly motivated individual to help manage our Warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be partially responsible for managing our Warehouse facilities in our Baltimore headquarters.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 pm - 4:00 am

Essential Functions:

• Assist in daily operations to include shipping, receiving, inventory control, truck maintenance, wire management, and related duties
• Candidate should be familiar with our delivery area which includes but is not limited to the Central Maryland
• Oversee all steps of the inbound process to include inventory and receiving
• Manage the Fulfillment, Inventory, and Receiving staff, as needed
• Assist with warehouse staff by selecting, orienting, and training employees
• Performs all other associated tasks assigned by Leadership team

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 5 years Management experience with a similar size workforce
• Previous overnight / PM shift experience strongly preferred
• Previous routing experience ideal
• Must be respectful, energetic, trustworthy, detail-oriented, and highly motivated!
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills willingness to communicate with our customer base as well as employees, to include our other locations
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Must have or be willing to obtain pallet jack and reach truck certification through onsite training
• Electrical product knowledge is a plus.
