A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A REGISTERED NURSE (RN)

As an RN, you play a key role in delivering quality care to our residents. You effectively interact with patients, their significant others, and other health team members while maintaining all standards of professional nursing. While assessing the patient, you collect and document their current health status and medical history. You maintain ongoing assessments with patients and revise their plan of care based on new data and changes in their condition.

Using your extensive knowledge, you safely implement basic preventative therapeutic and rehabilitative nursing care to your assigned patients. You administer medication and treatments according to the physician's orders as well as document the patient's responses and outcomes. By working collaboratively with other members of the care team, you ensure that tasks at our assisted living facility are handled in a timely manner and policies and procedures are always followed accordingly. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A REGISTERED NURSE (RN)

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Valid registration as an RN in the state of North Carolina
• Current CPR or BLS certification
• Proof of COVID vaccination

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
• This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
