Sharon Towers is a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) for senior residents located near the heart of SouthPark. Founded in 1969 by Presbyterian leaders in Charlotte, North Carolina, our not-for-profit community offers independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing care to approximately 330 residents in a wooded, 28-acre campus. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A REGISTERED NURSE (RN)
As an RN, you play a key role in delivering quality care to our residents. You effectively interact with patients, their significant others, and other health team members while maintaining all standards of professional nursing. While assessing the patient, you collect and document their current health status and medical history. You maintain ongoing assessments with patients and revise their plan of care based on new data and changes in their condition.
Using your extensive knowledge, you safely implement basic preventative therapeutic and rehabilitative nursing care to your assigned patients. You administer medication and treatments according to the physician's orders as well as document the patient's responses and outcomes. By working collaboratively with other members of the care team, you ensure that tasks at our assisted living facility are handled in a timely manner and policies and procedures are always followed accordingly.
